All the information concerning concerning opening hours / documents / fees / etc. can be found at the website of the Iranian embassy in France at:

http://www.amb-iran.fr/. The waiting time for applying for a visa was approximately one hour. The clerk in charge of my visa application was friendly and helpful. Once the visa is issued one can collect it at the entrance without waiting time.
